If it were so, we wouldn't have bothered with this additional page. So ontothe next centurywhere we find that the one in Leeds was no longer the one in Leeds but the onein the states, and the one in Muswell Hill is no longer the one in Muswell Hill but the one inHackney!Again thunder struck in a different place at a different time andthe result was exactly the same! The two never managed to be in the same place at the same time. So our songwriter decided that in order to have a web site with some sort of content, he'd better come up with something double quickas the domain name reg only lasts for two years and it would have been a total waste of bread.
So began the (re) birth ofthe soft. Now back and armed with a million LPs worth of material, but not in the least bit interestedin the old school record contract routebut maybe with a realcool and laid-back indie label, where the ownersactually like good pop music. But actually are now more likely to be content with banging on the cloudhoping someone, somwhere is listening.

Yeah, the story is superficially true but boring as white dog shite. The Soft did play the circuit for four years as a three-peice
but the original line-up broke up and scatttered to the far points of the globe.
And then there was one.
So that's the story...so far.
